SNOWMOBILING/TRAILS
Monticello Trailblazers Snowmobile Club has local club rides around Monticello Saturday, Sunday and Thursday evening during winter as well as out-of-the-area trips. New members and volunteers are welcome to join. Visit their web site at: www.MontiSnow.com

Wright County Snowmobile Association
The Wright County Grant-in-Aid Trail consists of 9 different DNR funded trails in the county for a total of nearly 250 miles of riding. A total of 12 different local snowmobile clubs make up the association and assist in keeping the trails groomed and well marked. New members and volunteers are welcome to join. BIKE/SKATE/WALKING PATHWAY :
The City of Monticello has more than 14 miles of paved pathway for bikes, roller blades and walking or jogging.

BOWLING:
River City Lanes (763-295-3390) has 24 bowling lanes, moonlight bowling, bumper bowling for kids and electronic score keeping. The bowling alley is inside a large complex that includes an arcade, bar and lounge, restaurant and banquet/meeting rooms. www.RiverCityExtreme.com

GOLF COURSES / DRIVING RANGES
• The Monticello Country Club:
   (763-295-4653) has a challenging championship 18-hole golf course.
   Located just off Cty. Rd. 39 West.

Vintage Golf Course:
   (763-271-5050 or 763-271-5000) has an executive 18-hole links-style
   golf course on Cty. Rd. 39 East & Cty. Rd. 19.
• Monticello Driving Range & Golf:
   (763-295-6005) Hwy. 25 & Cty. Rd. 106.

HORSEBACK RIDING:
Stop out at Lake Maria State Park (878-2352) for miles of trail riding pleasure.

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING:
Monticello has groomed trails at Lake Maria State Park (878-2325) located approx. 7 miles from downtown Monticello. Check out two other parks: Montissippi County Park located within the city limits on the west end of town and YMCA Camp Manitou just 3 miles from downtown Monticello (295-2403).

SNOW SLEDDING:
Visit East Bridge Park in downtown Monticello or head out to Lake Maria State Park at Anderson’s Hill.

ICE SKATING:
West Bridge and 4th Street Parks have skating rinks and warming houses.
